At times I feel that it is overwhelming to keep up on all the news, comedy shows, football matches, new books, political controversies, products, programming languages, magazines and so on that are available to me and that I am somehow expected to know about.

This made me think of a cool quote from Douglas Couplands video “Close personal friend”:
“I used to have this fantasy that I’d go into a coma for one year and when I came out of the coma I’d have a year of magazines and pop-culture to catch up on. It’d be like information crack and really fun, but now every day is like waking up after a year of having been in that coma.“
